Yes, I do think the study makes an important contribution to advancing knowledge. While some aspects of multicultural education have been implemented in the classroom: content integration and prejudice reduction, the other components: knowledge construction, equity pedagogy, and empowering school culture have not been so widely implemented. This literature hopes to inform practice so that administrators and teachers are enlighten as to ways they can incorporate the principles & practices of multicultural education into their school culture. ) Did you notice any flaws in the study?
